Soul Train line ... Afghan style!

Oh, yes.  Theater of the Oppressed, it can be so challenging to figure out how to end oppression.

It’s hard, hard work here in Kabul.

This is a very important step in the process. Hard, hard work!

Grrr. I forgot to write his name down so now I can't remember it. He's one of the general caretakers at the office.

But some people really do have to work hard.

I get to live a dream. I have a career that I have chosen, and in fact created, for myself.

Others have to work to feed their families.

Safiullah, a driver at AEPO. He has 6 girls and 2 boys. He told me when I'm ready to have kids, I should only have two!

The tea manager fuels our engines!

Through this blog you get to hear about my work (which I consider a joy and a blessing), and the work of the different Afghan theater groups.

What you don’t see are all the hard working people who make my job easier; who help me to be comfortable and who support me with warm smiles and a thousand small acts of kindness.

This post goes out to all the people who work so hard behind the scenes so I can do my best.  Without you, there is no me.
